David and i met when i moved to Newent. He came to call thinking i was a little boy! That day in September 1966 was the start of a friendship that has lasted 55 years. David was the closest thing i had to a brother. We were inseperable right until we met our partners. Even though we didnt see each other that often we emailed and chatted on the phone. We were the best of friends right until the end. He was my best friend, he will always be my best friend.
